About
My day job is making sure half a million people can order ice cream at 2am and actually get it. I'm a backend-leaning engineer who works across the stack: Java and Spring Boot on the server, React and React Native on the client. I tend to own things end-to-end, from system design to what lands on someone's phone. When I'm not working I'm either cycling, running, or building something on the side for no particular reason other than curiosity.

I've worked on a variety of projects, from simple websites to complex web applications. Here are a few of my favorites.
Mobile App for tracking binged TV shows
Tsuiseki is a mobile app for tracking the TV shows you binge, which I built solo and shipped to both the App Store and Google Play. Written in React Native with Expo, partly to see how Expo's workflow compares to the React Native CLI I use at work.
Lab Test Tracking & Reporting App
Poland's provincial agricultural quality inspectorates were tracking lab tests and compiling inspection reports by hand: slow, repetitive, error-prone. For a university Python course, I modeled a replacement - a Django web app that logs tests and auto-generates standardized .docx and .csv reports, cutting out the manual paperwork. MySQL for storage, Docker for deployment.
GTA5 Modded Server
Back in 2017, I was part of the team behind a GTA5 community roleplay server: event-driven Node.js on the backend, Vue on the frontend. My first taste of building with other people, version control conflicts and all.
